It's been awhile!

Well, here it is 2013....a long ways from my last post in 2008! Since that last post we've gone from 2 dogs and a multitude of puppies to one dog-Mischa. We've also gone from 3 kids to 5! Shelby is growing up so fast as a 7th grader. Maili is in 3rd, and Olivia is in 2nd! A far cry from the babies they were 5 years ago! Can't believe how fast time flies. Keely is 3 and the littlest is Rhylee at 4 months.

So that's us.....living it up in Az. Hopefully I will get my act together and remember to post more often! (Like I don't already have enough on my plate!!!)

Welcome to my 1st blog

Welcome to my first blog! I'm Jenn-I have 3 beautiful little girls-Shelby, 6, Maili, 3, and Olivia, 2. I have 2 dogs-an Akita named Mischa and Sophie who is a mixed dog I rescued from a Circle K parking lot. Sophie had puppies 6 weeks ago...9 puppies to be exact! I now house 6 out of the 9. 3 of them have gone to wonderful homes and are now enjoying the life of pampered pups! I am really truly thinking of keeping 1 of them. She is my "baby girl" still unnamed. Although we think they are a german shephard/lab mix they are still so tiny! "Baby girl" thinks she is a lap dog! Wait until she gets bigger and tries to sit on my lap! LOL! Shelby just completed the 1st grade! Her class was sent home with the 2nd grade words to learn and work on....with the exception of my little star who knew all the 2nd grade words (129 of them) and got to bring home the 3rd grade list of words!!! She has lost one tooth so far and has 3 more loose ones! Maili is my little hair dresser and has cut her hair (beyond MY repair jobs). It took 3 long years for her hair to grow in and it had finally reached 2/3s of the way down her back and she chunked it up to right below her neck! Luckily I found an amazing hair stylist who repaired it into an adorable bob for me! With the exception of a really short chunk in the very front portion of her head you would never be able to tell she got ahold of the scissors! This little devil (yes, really, she has devil in her) also kept getting into the pantry so badly that I had to get a lock n key handle for it. Now, as long as I remember to lock it every time I go in, I no longer am missing tons of food, and Maili finally eats her dinners!!! Olivia just turned two. She is my little stripper! She loves to take off her clothes and dance on tabletops. (Ok...so I know this isn't something I should be too proud of....but it's SUPER DUPER CUTE!) We are potty training and talking new words each and every day! Last night's new word was BATHROOM! She loves to tell me that I love turtles and flowers! And to hear her say, "I love you!" is heaven to a momma's ears! Well, that's it in a nutshell. Hope you enjoyed...keep checking back for updates!
